This is a one-button macro for tanking, for Blood spec Death Knight. It focuses on Death Strikes and Death Coils, also using Blood Tap for extra runes. It’s not a completely optimized macro, so you won’t achieve maximum damage / threat effectiveness, that’s why it might not be the best choice for tanking raids. However, for dungeons, elite farming, and even LFR it’s not bad.

Macro code:

Sequences['TankDK01'] = {
StepFunction = [[
limit = limit or 1
if step == limit then
limit = limit % #macros + 1
step = 1
else
step = step % #macros + 1
end
]],
PreMacro = [[
/cast Bone Shield
/cast [combat] Dancing Rune Weapon
]],
[[/cast Death Strike]],
[[/cast Icy Touch]],
[[/cast Death Coil]],
[[/cast Blood Boil]],
[[/cast Death Strike]],
[[/cast Death Coil]],
[[/cast [combat] Blood Tap]],
[[/cast Soul Reaper]],
}

Restrictions:

Required class – Death Knight
Required spec – Blood
Required talents – Blood Tap, Necrotic Plague
Required addon – GnomeSequencer

Tips:

The Icy Touch is in the macro to reapply the Necrotic Stacks once they’re done. However, you can also add Outbreak in the pre-macro, as a disease applying ability. But this way, you might cast at the wrong time, that’s why it’s best to keep it separately.

You can add Plague Leech to the macro as well. But since this ability is best to cast when Necrotic Plague is near its end, you should keep this ability on a separate key. If put in the macro, it may cast it when there are very few stacks.

Also, Blood Tap can also be kept separately, to use when you need it the most. As it is, the macro will call it pretty frequently as you spam it, but for certain situations it might not be quickly enough.
