If you play an Arms Warrior, the following macro can basically replace all your main combat abilities, as it contains them all. It’s a simple Sequencer macro meant for mashing, and using for single target fighting. It will begin by applying Rend on the target, then it will cycle through Mortal Strike, Colossus Smash, Slam, Execute and Impending Victory, casting whichever is available. Whenever you change target, it will apply Rend on the new target.

Arms Warr DPS Macro

Arms Warr DPS Macro - Notepad Code

Macro code:

Sequences['Arms1'] = {
PreMacro = [[
/targetenemy [noharm][dead]
/castsequence reset=target Rend,null
[[/cast Mortal Strike]],
[[/cast Colossus Smash]],
[[/cast Slam]],
[[/cast Execute]],
[[/cast Impending Victory]],

Required class – Warrior
Required spec – Arms
Required talent – Impending Victory
Required addon – GnomeSequencer

Although Impending Victory works OK in this macro, since it’s an important healing ability, it’s best to keep it separate, and use it when it’s the most necessary. The macro will trigger it when it’s available, and you may not have it up when you need it the most.

Now, normally this macro resets when you change target, and applies Rend on your new target. However, if you try to make the “reset=18/target”, so that it applies Rend once again, on your main target, after the 18 seconds that it lasts, it won’t work. It simply does not reset after 18 seconds. Haven’t figured it out why, yet.
